Tablescape ~ Green and White Spring Luncheon Table

Welcome to Tablescape Thursday~

This week I'm doing a Green & White Spring Luncheon at my house.
We've been teased with some glorious sunny weather recently,
but not today ~ the gray and drizzly skies make taking
cheerful, bright photos a bit of a challenge, so I hope you'll bear with me.

Sometimes I hesitate cutting tulips because I love looking out at the color, but I cut these to enjoy at the table figuring it was better than letting them get beat up by the rain.

Decorative birdcage, holding a vintage milk glass
bird-on-a-nest themed candy dish, a candle and
yellow tulips.

I'm sure you all recognize the 'Bee' flatware (Neiman Marcus/Horchow.)
Round Tablecloth ~ Williams Sonoma
Round woven placemats ~ Beds Bath & Beyond

Porcelain Charger ~ Nell Hills
Luncheon Plate ~ Dansk
Canape Plates; French Vineyards ~ Longchamp, made in France

Vintage Sherbet Dishes
I use them to serve all kinds of other things, too

Napkins ~ Sur la Table (currently available)

Salt and Peppers ~ Smith Hawken (now defunct.) :(

Lily of the Valley Place card holders~
Victorian Trading Company

Real, honest-to-goodness raindrops from the Pacific Northwest, straight from the garden. :D

Vintage Pressed glass creamer ~
I usually use it as a posy holder. :)

Bee Pattern ~ La Rochere (France)
Stemmed glasses ~ La Rochere, Perigord Pattern (France)

Mari, This is a gorgeous table! It looks so refreshing and crisp. It was worth cutting your beautiful tulips. I love each place setting, so well put together.
The french vineyard camape plates look handpainted. So pretty. And I love the look of the glass sherbert glasses sitting on top of them.
When I saw the salt and pepper I was sure I was going to order it right away. Too bad it is no longer in sock. It is adorable on your table!
Beautiful job. Can I come for dinner?

Mari:

I just figured out how to post and wanted to comment on you Table Settings. I love all of them that I have seen and have a question for you. Where do you store all your dishes and beautiful glassware? LOL. I am always impressed with your posts. Wish I was as talented and had your eye for detail. This weeks is a breath of Spring time for sure. Alas, I am jealous. My tulips get eaten by the deer, bunnies, moles and whatever else is looking for a meal. Thank you for your lovely posts, I look forward to them. Judy in Ohio

There are just too many gorgeous things on your table! Love the glass bird in the nest, and the Smith and Hawken s and P! Did you ever go to the very original Smith and Hawken in Mill Valley? I loved it, and the huge shop/outlet in Berkeley.

Mari, holy sakes alive. Where do I start? There is so much I love about this. One, your photography! Hello. I need to take crisp, clear, great photographs like you. You are an inspiration! I am shopping for a new camera and I will need to ask you questions first.
Second, your artistry. I am just filled with...awe. And also, Smith & Hawken, I miss them. Don't you.

I just love, love this so much. I want to bring it up whenever I want to feel good. This is one of life's pleasures and beautiful table with people we love, because life is just too short.

Sorry, I forgot to add the vintage milk glass bird on a nest candy dish, Love it! I am going to hope I find one before I die. That is one of the cutest things ever.

OMG! This has to be one of the nicest tablescapes. I'm in love with it all. The beautiful flowers, the green depression glass, those darling placecard holders... but my heart skipped a beat when I saw the bee glasses and flatware. I have been dreaming about having those. You are sooooo lucky!

Oh my, I have to go take another look as this tablescape is wonderful!

Hugs,
Joanne

Good morning, just a note to let you know your green creamer is not pressed glass, rather it is depression glass and the pattern is Cameo. It's a beautiful addition to your wonderful table.

Lorrie
