Honestly, do Scalloped Potatoes need any explanation?!
I loved when my mother would serve them with dinner ~ they have always been one of my favorite ways of enjoying potatoes.
Here they are, ready for the oven.
And after baking, hot, bubbling and browned.
I served them along with baked Chicken Breasts wrapped in Prosciutto & Sage on a bed of wilted baby spinach.
A delicious dinner on a wet, stormy evening.
